After temporary suspension of flights due to the current crisis, the direct connection between Belgium and Japan will now restart, according to Brussels Airport.
From 13 October onwards Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) resumes cargo flights between Tokyo (NRT) and Brussels Airport (BRU).
ANA will operate cargo-only services every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with a 35-tonne belly cargo capacity.
Joining ANA at Brussels is European Air Transport (EAT) Leipzig, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group, which started five weekly cargo flights using Airbus A330-200F aircraft with 65 tonnes of capacity each way.
