Crane Worldwide Logistics plans to further extend its contract logistics footprint within Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, recently opening new offices in Doha with plans for expansion in due course, a spokesperson confirmed.
In Europe and Africa, the third party logistics company has announced the opening of new warehouse facilities in the Midlands, Dublin, and Johannesburg, as well additional space in Dutch city Tilburg.
“Our goal has always been to position ourselves according to our client’s needs. Due to the urgent need for flexible global supply chain partners, we have seen considerable demand for additional warehouse space in the region. Given our integrated logistics service offering, we are growing with our clients,” comments Jason Stretton, who recently rejoined the company as regional vice president for EMEA.
“Supply chain partnerships are key to success in the post-COVID environment, and a company of our size and scope can provide the flexibility needed in this changing environment,” said Keith Winters, CEO at Crane Worldwide.
“With our best of class purchase order management system, Pinpoint, alongside our visibility tool C-View, we continue to offer the fastest order to consumption transit times,” he added.
Last week, the Texas-based logistics company received the Innovation in Technology and Systems award at the Irish Transport and Logistics Awards in line with its value proposition for technology, service and people.
