
GEODIS is set to enhance its import and export services in Australia, including customs brokerage, as it plans to operate a new purpose-built facility at Brisbane Airport.
The planned 4,500-sqm warehouse facility is due to start operations by the second half of 2022. The warehouse will be strategically positioned at Brisbane Airport’s export park, a precinct for warehousing, freight handling, and distribution centres, as well as catering, wholesaling, and storage facilities, located 14 km from the central business district, and 22 km from the Port of Brisbane, serving both sea and air freight.

The new site will feature 4,000 pallet locations, 1,500 sqm of bulk space, and a cool room for perishable goods supply for marine and hospitality logistics customers, especially cruise lines.
