Kale and Tech Mahindra announce strategic partnership to accelerate digital transformation in the global logistics industry

March 23, 2026 by PLA Editor

Kale Logistics (Kale), a leading provider of digital trade facilitation SaaS products and cargo community systems, has announced a partnership with Tech Mahindra, a leading global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions to enterprises across industries, to jointly enable large-scale digital transformation across the global logistics industry, with a specific focus on ports and airports.

This collaboration brings together Kale’s deep logistics domain expertise and proven capability in building national-level cargo community systems with Tech Mahindra’s engineering proficiency, digital business transformation capabilities, and global reach, to deliver seamless experiences. The joint offerings will support shippers, ground handlers, terminal operators, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to enhance cargo visibility, operational efficiency, compliance, and sustainability.

Through this partnership, both organisations will work towards streamlining end-to-end cargo operations, enabling paperless and data-driven processes, and unlocking collaborative platforms that drive faster cargo movement and reduce logistics costs.

“This partnership marks a pivotal moment for the digitisation of the logistics sector,” said Vineet Malhotra, Co-Founder and Director, Kale Logistics Solutions.

“By combining Tech Mahindra’s global technology and consulting capabilities with our domain expertise in SaaS-based cargo community systems, we will deliver next-generation AI-powered solutions that simplify and standardise global trade.

“Together, we aim to help airports and ports overcome operational bottlenecks, improve real-time visibility, and drive smarter, faster, and highly efficient cargo movement.”

Tech Mahindra’s logistics vertical is a well-established practice with nearly two decades of experience, serving leading global logistics organisations and several Fortune 500 companies. Backed by deep domain expertise, robust technology, intellectual property, and a strong ecosystem of niche partnerships, Tech Mahindra is well-positioned as a trusted front-runner for customers seeking comprehensive, domain-led technology solutions across the logistics value chain.

“As global supply chains rapidly evolve, data-driven collaboration and AI-enabled automation are the future,” said Sampath Saagi, Head of Diverse Industry Verticals Group, Americas, Tech Mahindra.

“The partnership leverages the strengths of both organisations, including Kale’s proven logistics platforms and Tech Mahindra’s digital transformation scale to deliver connected, intelligent, and resilient operations for airports and ports worldwide.

“The partnership will co-create a strong digital ecosystem that unlocks capacity and delivers a superior experience for every stakeholder in the supply chain.”

This partnership is expected to help logistics hubs achieve measurable improvements in operational efficiency, predictability, and customer experience while aligning with global sustainability standards.
