Emirates SkyCargo has further expanded its digital presence by integrating its world-class product and services on Pelicargo, a leading online platform for airfreight procurement and booking. The cargo arm of the world’s largest international airline is also the first carrier from the Middle East region to establish API connectivity with Pelicargo, enabling immediate bookings.
Over the last 12 months, Emirates SkyCargo has tracked the significant increase in customers based in the US switching to digital channels such as eSkyCargo and third-party marketplaces, coupled with a decline in manual transactions. By onboarding to Pelicargo, a marketplace with particular reach in the US, Emirates SkyCargo will be available to thousands of new customers, while freight forwarders are empowered with more control over their bookings, 24/7.

Pelicargo is the fourth digital marketplace to host Emirates SkyCargo’s capacity, following cargo.one, CargoAi and WebCargo.
