EXPOLINE and ACL Airshop discuss expansion of ULD supply and special cargo business in Korea

August 19, 2026 by PLA Editor

EXPOLINE, an international exhibition and special cargo logistics company, met with representatives from ACL AIRSHOP, a global ULD specialist, at EXPOLINE’s headquarters on August 12, 2026. The two companies discussed long-term cooperation plans, including expanding ULD supply in Korea and operating specialised containers for special cargo.

ACL AIRSHOP is a global leasing provider specialising in Unit Load Devices (ULDs) used for air cargo transportation. The company provides leasing and management services for air cargo pallets, containers, and related equipment.

As ACL AIRSHOP’s partner agent in Korea, EXPOLINE has worked closely with the company in domestic ULD operations and management since their first agreement in 2020. Their business has grown by more than 190% since the partnership began, establishing a stable and long-term cooperative relationship.

EXPOLINE holds E and F passes that authorise access and movement within the airside apron area of Incheon International Airport. The company also provides ULD management and air cargo handling services through its bonded warehouse and dedicated airport operations team.

The meeting was attended by Joelin Ong, Sales Manager Asia Pacific; Neko Cheung, 3rd Party Station Manager; and Pedro Martins, Director, Operations, EMEIA, from ACL AIRSHOP.

The ACL AIRSHOP delegation visited Korea to explore opportunities to expand ULD supply to its contracted airline customers in the country and strengthen its business relationships with Korean airlines. The two companies reviewed their operational achievements and business growth to date and discussed specific measures to enhance ULD supply and management capabilities in the Korean market.

Key topics included increasing ULD supply to contracted airlines in Korea and introducing an advanced management system to provide real-time inventory visibility, track equipment movements, and improve overall operational efficiency.

The two companies also discussed expanding the domestic operation of HORSE STALL units, specialised ULD equipment designed for the safe transportation of horses by air. They reviewed the possibility of supplying HORSE STALL units to the Korean station on a long-term basis and maintaining a local inventory of specialised cargo containers, including HORSE STALL units, to enable faster deployment when required.

Maintaining a stable supply of HORSE STALL units in Korea is expected to reduce equipment procurement lead times and enable a faster response to horse transportation requirements and operational schedules.

On August 13, following the headquarters meeting, the ACL AIRSHOP delegation visited EXPOLINE’s airport operations team at Incheon International Airport. The delegation reviewed the company’s ULD management and air cargo handling operations and discussed further cooperation based on actual on-site requirements.

An EXPOLINE representative said, “As ACL AIRSHOP’s partner agent in Korea, we plan to further strengthen the stable supply of ULDs to contracted airline customers and enhance our equipment management capabilities.”

“We will also continue discussing the long-term supply and local availability of specialised cargo containers, including HORSE STALL units,” the representative added. “We expect this meeting to further strengthen our partnership and create new business opportunities for both companies in the Korean market.”
