Atlantic Gate strengthens global leadership with two senior appointments

Atlantic Gate, a global freight forwarder, is pleased to announce the appointments of Özgür AL as CEO Region Europe & Americas, based in Geneva, and Gregoire Daudé as Deputy Head Asia, based in Hong Kong. The appointments further strengthen the company’s regional organisations and support its continued development across key international markets.

As CEO Region Europe & Americas, Özgür AL will lead Atlantic Gate’s business across Europe and the Americas. Working closely with regional teams and Group leadership, he will focus on business performance, customer development, and operational execution across the region.

Özgür brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in logistics, shipping, and supply chain management. He joins Atlantic Gate from DB Schenker Arkas Logistics in Istanbul, where he served as Managing Director and Board Member. Previously, he held senior leadership roles with Hamburg Süd and has extensive experience building businesses, expanding regional operations, and delivering profitable growth across Europe, the Middle East, and the Indian subcontinent.

As Deputy Head Asia, Grégoire Daudé will lead Atlantic Gate’s business across Southeast Asia and India. Working closely with local teams and regional leadership, he will support commercial development, strengthen regional performance, and help drive the company’s growth ambitions across Asia.

Grégoire joins Atlantic Gate from CMA CGM Hong Kong, where he most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to this, he held leadership positions with Hermes, CEVA Logistics, and DHL, gaining broad experience in commercial management, business development, and supply chain solutions across Europe, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

Commenting on the appointments, Yuri Valazza, Group CEO of Atlantic Gate, said: “I am pleased to welcome Özgür and Grégoire to Atlantic Gate. Both bring strong industry expertise, proven leadership, and a clear customer focus.
