Singapore Air Cargo Agents Association (SAAA@Singapore) celebrates its 55th Emerald Anniversary, titled Rooted, Blooming and Soaring into the Future at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Oriental Ballroom. The event was graced by Ms Sun Xueling, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of National Development, who gave a keynote speech as Guest of Honour.
Established in 1971, SAAA@Singapore represents Singapore’s air cargo community, advocating industry growth, regulatory trust, and professional standards. As the air cargo sector evolves, the association continues to emphasise collaboration and trust as key enablers of operational efficiency and digital innovation.
This 55th Anniversary celebration is more than a commemorative dinner. It is a strategic milestone to reaffirm the Association’s purpose, recognise its contributions, strengthen industry relationships and set the direction for its next chapter.
At its 55th Emerald Anniversary celebration, SAAA@Singapore reflected on five and a half decades of industry leadership while reaffirming its commitment to shaping the future of Singapore’s air cargo community through the Six Rs: Recognise, Reaffirm, Reconnect, Renew, Reposition and Reminisce. The celebration honoured the past Chairmen, Council members and industry pioneers who laid the foundations of the Association, reaffirmed SAAA’s role as a trusted industry voice and connector and highlighted the importance of collaboration, digital innovation and workforce transformation.
Building on the Aviation Job Redesign Playbook introduced in November 2025, we are also pleased to unveil the Aviation Job Redesign Playbook microsite. It was co-developed by the Job Redesign Centre of Excellence at the Institute for Human Resource Professionals and the Skills and Workforce Development Agency, in close collaboration with SAAA@Singapore and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. The microsite transforms the Playbook into an interactive and accessible digital resource, making it easier for employers, individuals and industry stakeholders to access practical frameworks, case studies and job redesign tools. It also features an AI-powered chatbot that serves as a virtual guide, enabling users to navigate the microsite seamlessly and receive personalised recommendations in real time. Bite-sized e-learning modules also support self-paced learning and practical workplace application. Together, these will help the aviation sector build a resilient, productive and future-ready workforce.
It also marked the launch of SAAA@Singapore new website. Along with a new council leadership, SAAA continues to strengthen member value and advance its four strategic pillars: driving innovation and digital transformation, strengthening internationalisation, developing future-ready talent and building a sustainable and collaborative ecosystem.
