SolitAir has launched operations in Uzbekistan, bringing to three the number of Central Asian republics currently served by the UAE’s dedicated next-generation B2B, airport-to-airport express middle-mile cargo airline.

Tashkent International Airport (TAS) and Navoiy International Airport (NVI) join SolitAir’s growing Central Asian network, with a particular focus on perishable shipments. The two new destinations significantly strengthen the airline’s coverage of the region alongside its established routes to Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan and Almaty and Astana in Kazakhstan.

The addition of TAS and NVI brings SolitAir’s total network to more than 60 destinations across 40+ countries and three continents – Asia, Africa and Europe – as the carrier continues to connect commercially vital yet underserved trade routes between Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport and fast-growing markets.

Air transport operators handled 57,200 tonnes of cargo across Uzbekistan during the first half of 2026, underscoring the country’s growing position as Central Asia’s leading air cargo market. Freight volumes are being driven primarily by major infrastructure investments and shifting regional trade patterns.

SolitAir operates a fleet of seven Boeing 737-800 BCF freighters, each with a 20-tonne cargo capacity, from its 20,440-square-metre cargo hub at Dubai World Central, which has been operational since October 2024. The airline plans to expand its fleet to 20 aircraft by the end of 2027.

The airline holds a UAE GCAA Air Operator’s Certificate, EASA Third Country Operator (TCO) authorisation, ACC3 designation from the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority, and UK CAA TCO certification.
