Rhenus Logistics has launched an
extended service to Japan, with an
increase of its air and ocean freight routes
as part of its strategic plan to improve its
UK and EU gateways to global markets
and following the recent opening of its
London Heathrow facility.
The company now operates five air
freight consolidations per week alongside
weekly ocean departures, focusing on
exporting consumer goods to its key
destinations in Tokyo and Osaka. The
service is managed by Rhenus’ four main
hubs, in Manchester, Bradford, Cannock
and Basildon.
