Cathay Pacific and sister airline Dragonair have reported carrying 146,955 tonnes of cargo and mail last month, an increase of 19.7 per cent compared to August 2013. Cargo and mail load factor rose by 3.8 percentage points to 62.5 per cent. Capacity rose by 13.3 per cent while the revenue earned per flown tonne of cargo and mail (RTKs) was up 20.6 per cent. For the year to the end of August, tonnage increased by 11.3 per cent, while capacity rose by 11.4 per cent, and RTKs was up by 14.3 per cent.
