Star Alliance partner TAP Air Portugal is resuming flights from Munich twice a day from Munich Airport to Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon, for those connecting to North and South America, the Azores, and Africa, announced a press release.
Utilising A330-900 neo aircraft, the airline says it has “one of the most modern and environmentally friendly long-haul fleets in Europe.”
Andreas von Puttkamer, head of the aviation business unit at Munich Airport, was quoted, “With TAP, another important Star Alliance Partner is returning to Munich who offers a high-frequency route network, primarily to South America and to vacation regions in Southern Europe.”
On the air cargo front, TAP Air Cargo now runs on CHAMP API to improve tracking and synchronization of its supply chain. TAP Air Cargo‘s real-time offers appear on cargo booking platform cargo.one
