Virgin Atlantic Cargo carried one of Hollywood’s biggest stars between Los Angeles and London to appear on a number of television shows including: The Graham Norton Show, BBC
News, Channel 5 News, Blue Peter and Newsround to name a few. Uggie, a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier was the canine star of the Oscar-winning silent movie, The Artist.

Virgin Atlantic has had
a dedicated pet team since 2003, when it was the first airline to fly pets directly from the US to London Heathrow under the Pet Travel Scheme. Since then Virgin has managed the travel arrangements for over 14,000 dogs and cats to and from destinations across their international network, including the US, Dubai, Hong Kong, South Africa, the Caribbean and Australia. Australia, they also take care of family pets between Los Angles and both Sydney and Melbourne.
