tlac SEA pre-conference sets stage for next year

The panel discussion on attracting and retaining talent in transport and logistics saw executives from recruitment business PageGroup, forwarder Kuehne + Nagel, aviation specialist Group Concorde and software company SAP.

The transport logistic and air cargo Southeast Asia (tlac SEA) was officially inaugurated at a pre-launch conference today, 13 September, at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.

Around 100 professionals—from airports, airlines, freight forwarders, technology enablers, service providers and shippers to association partners and government agencies—attended the event in person, including the likes of IATA, SAP, and DHL Express.

The conference served as a prelude to the inaugural Southeast Asian edition of the transport logistic and air cargo (tlac) series to be held at the same venue on 13-15 September next year. The event, organised by MMI Asia, subsidiary of event organiser Messe München GmbH is a flagship show in Germany with past editions held in India, China, Turkey and the United States.

Next year’s transport logistics and air cargo conference in Singapore will focus on the key themes of ‘digitalization, resilience and sustainability.’
