IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), will now offer Envirotainer’s Releye RLP & RAP containers for customers transporting pharmaceutical goods.

IAG Cargo said the solution is a welcome addition to its Constant Climate cold chain service. Using the latest technology, Envirotainer’s Releye RLP & RAP containers monitor the position, temperature, battery level and humidity and can run for 170 without needing to be recharged.

The innovative containers also deliver up to 90 percent reduction in CO2 emissions compared to available passive solutions, based on life-cycle analysis.
