The long-standing dispute between Sheremetyevo International Airport and the cargo terminal, Sheremetyevo-Cargo, over the lease of the land plot has been settled, according to the two players. The companies signed a new agreement in which Sheremetyevo-Cargo becomes a sub-tenant of the airport land, leasing it from Sheremetyevo Airport, as well as settling the debt accumulated during three years of disputes. Sheremetyevo- Cargo’s debt amounts to 40 million rubles (US$1.3 million) according to the agreement, which was reduced from an initial claim by the airport of 120 million rubles.
