The latest aircraft is a new conversion leased from Boeing Capital, and being delivered by SASCO (ST Aviation Services Company Pte. Ltd) of Singapore. British Airways World Cargo (BAWC) has reported commercial revenue (flown revenue plus fuel surcharges) of £550.3 million (US$790 million) for the full year beginning April 2009. Two new Airbus A330-200 aircraft joined the Royal Jordanian fleet recently with the aircraft to serve the airline’s long- and medium-range routes to the Far East and London. The first Boeing 777 Freighter to enter Qatar Airways’ fleet has been placed into service after the Dohabased carrier took delivery of the aircraft on 17 May. “The 777 Freighter will expand on the great track record that Qatar Airways’ 777 passenger airplanes have established,” said Marlin Dailey, vice president of sales for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
