June sees highest growth in 14 months: IATA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight demand in June 2016 showing a rise in freight tonne kilometers (FTK) of 4.3 per cent year-on-year - the fastest pace of growth in 14 months. June figures show cargo improvement but belly capacity growth still a problem

Amsterdam Schiphol on alert over possible terrorist threat
Security has been stepped up at the major European gateway of Amsterdam Schiphol on the weekend in response to "indications" of a threat, an official said, causing traffic jams during the busy summer holiday season. Qatar Airways bumps up stake in IAG to 20%
Qatar Airways has announced that it now holds a 20.01 per cent stake in International Airlines Group (IAG) effective from 28 July.
