According to the latest update from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) freight traffic - expressed in freight-tonne-kilometres (FTKs) - grew by +2.7 per cent year-on-year (YoY) in January 2016, +1.9 percentage points higher than the growth in December 2015. FIATA continues its membership growth adding 38 in March
The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) has announced 38 new members in March. "This reconfirms the trend that has been witnessed in recent months where FIATA is joined by a considerable number of new individual members every week,” the Geneva-based organisation said.
