It took a project cargo from China to Poland for Austrian logistics provider Gebrüder Weiss to deploy the world’s largest cargo plane, the Antonov An-225.
The freight forwarder chartered the giant freighter, which landed for the first time at Rzeszów airport in Poland on the evening of November 13 after it left the Chinese airport of Tianjin a day earlier.

Gebrüder Weiss is no stranger to the large Ukranian freighters. It had already used Antonov An-225 Mriya for a shipment to Austria in October and the forwarder has chartered the smaller Antonov An-124 in numerous occasions this year for flights to Europe.
