A dispute with the country's sole fuel supplier over payment has led to Viva Macau Airlines being grounded after its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) was revoked. Boeing and Airbus remain upbeat over India’s aviation growth potential, with Airbus upping its 20-year global market forecast for the country, saying India will need 1,032 new aircraft worth US$138 billion by 2028. IATA: January volumes continue upward trend
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has announced that January 2010 demand for international scheduled air traffic showed continuing improvement, with international cargo demand up 28.3 per cent with only a 3.7 per cent increase in capacity.
