Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) says March traffic figures for Abu Dhabi International Airport show a modest, but non-the-less positive rise in cargo movements, up two per cent. Mail volumes increased by a massive 39.9 per cent, led by the increase in mail volume to the US and Australia, the ADAC said. Asian air cargo declines 22% in March
Air cargo demand remained depressed in March, with the latest figures released by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) showing a 21.9 per cent decline in international freight tonne kilometres (FTKs) compared with March of last year. Jade Cargo B747 skids off runway in Seoul
Jade Cargo International has isssued a statement confirming an incident on its cargo flight JI 7432 Frankfurt - Incheon upon landing at Incheon Airport, Seoul. Its Boeing 747-400 Cargo ERF skidded off the runway during landing. The extent of the damage is not currently known but there were no injuries from the incident. AAT cautious on levelling of cargo declines
Hong Kong's second largest cargo terminal, Asia Airfreight Terminal Co Ltd (AAT), announced today that its March throughput declined by 28 per cent year-on-year, to a total of 40,217 tonnes. Hactl’s March volumes come as “minor relief”
Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) announced that its tonnage throughput for March and the first quarter both went down more than 20 per cent, but the figures provided "minor relief" as they are a further indicator that the sharp declines have levelled off.
