Malaysian airport operator MAHB saw the number of cargo flights jump year on year for the month of June as travel restrictions continued to curtail passenger traffic. Hong Kong cargo traffic sees double-digit growth in June
Traffic figures released for June 2021 by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) reveal that Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) saw cargo volume jump 11.5 percent year on year with 399,000 tonnes, whilst passenger traffic climbed more than 40 percent from June of last year, with flight movements up over 10 percent. China’s newest mega airport is officially open
Last week China's newest mega airport the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport officially started operations, with Sichuan Airlines operating the inaugural flight bound for Beijing.
