FedEx Express signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) on 30 March to develop a new cargo terminal at ICN. Qatar begins eight flights a week to Birmingham
Qatar Airways has inaugurated the airline’s fourth UK gateway with direct flights between Doha and Birmingham using B787 Dreamliners. The inaugural flight touched down at sunrise on 30 March and was greeted by a traditional water salute. American Airlines has submitted a proposal to the US Department of Transportation to begin daily nonstop service from Los Angeles to the Chinese capital of Beijing, two weeks after Delta Air Lines announced a similar bid.
