PHILIPPINES: Gulf Air to boost cargo capability
Gulf Air is ordering nine new wide-bodied aircraft to boost its cargo capability. A report by the Bulletin quoted Roberto Hukom, Gulf Air Philippines country manager that the new aircraft will boost not only the airline's cargo capacity but also its ability to transport more passengers through its network. Cargo volumes to triple at world's airports
A new Airports Council International (ACI) forecast, which highlights future traffic development from the perspective of the airport industry, predicts a tripling of current cargo volumes within the next 20 years.
