Deutsche Post DHL Group has completed its US$315.5 million acquisition of UK Mail. Both EU and UK regulatory bodies gave the green light for the deal in late 2016 and the companies have moved to cancel the listing of UK Mail Group plc shares, amend the company’s Articles of Association and will add UK Mail’s operations to the European parcel network of Deutsche Post DHL Group. Vladimir Zubkov to be TIACA’s new secretary general
The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has announced its new secretary general, will be Vladimir Zubkov, replacing Doug Brittin, who retires at the end of the year. DHL eCommerce has announced plans to build an Outbound Cross-Border eCommerce Distribution Center in Narita, Japan. The facility, expected to be completed by by April 2017, will broaden the range of e-commerce logistics services available to e-tailers and marketplaces operating in the country.
