Seven international airlines have been served with a A$200 million class action in Australia accusing them of global price fixing on air freight from 2000. AUSTRALIA: Cargo helps Qantas strong profit
Freight gave a strong lift to Qantas¡¯ increased profit for the half-year ended December 31, 2006. Freight revenue increased by 6.7% on the previous comparable half-year, through additional wet-leased freight capacity and stronger yields, the company said.
