Kuwait’s National Aviation Services (NAS), has announced that it has signed a ground handling agreement with Flydubai, the region’s fastest growing budget airline. Swissport awarded BA contract at Frankfurt
Swissport International has been awarded a new three-year contract to provide cargo handling for British Airways at Frankfurt Airport. Frankfurt is one of the world’s biggest cargo hubs, and the new agreement is likely to cover an annual volume of over 50,000 tonnes. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that February 2010 international scheduled air traffic showed continued strengthening of demand. Compared to February 2009, cargo demand grew 26.5 per cent while passenger demand was up 9.5 per cent. Security training for pharma customers
DHL and American Airlines Cargo have started offering joint training to educate pharmaceutical customers on how best to comply with the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP). The training includes discussion on the required process for becoming a Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF).
