The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight markets showing that growth continued to slow in May. Compared to May 2014, growth in freight tonne kilometers (FTK) was 2.1 per cent, the slowest rate this year and outpaced by a capacity expansion of 4.3 per cent. FedEx seeks EU approval for US$4.9B TNT bid
FedEx has asked the European Union's competition regulator to approve its 4.4 billion euro (US$4.9 billion) bid for Dutch rival TNT Express. The deal will provide the US package delivery service company with a ready-made and extensive European delivery infrastructure. SingPost divests 90% stake in DataPost
Singapore Post (SingPost) has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Jing King Tech Solutions to dispose its 90 per cent stake in DataPost for approximately S$39.3 million (approx.
