UPS and Aurrigo have announced a project to deploy Auto-Cargo, an autonomous electric vehicle designed to move heavy loads to and from aircraft, at East Midlands Airport. UPS tops up order for Boeing’s 767 freighters
American logistics integrator UPS has placed an order for eight more 767 freighters from Boeing as the integrator looks to modernize its fleet in view of efficiency, sustainability and reliability. The incremental order will increase the carrier’s fleet of 767 freighters to 108, along with 238 Boeing heritage freighters like the 747, 757, 767 and MD-11.
