Swiss global forwarder and logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel recently announced its results for the nine months to the end of September, figures which suggested a slowing of market demand but higher profits. Indian logistics council to be created
Hampered by inadequate transport infrastructure and a disorganised logistics sector, India’s national government has announced it is forming a council to help develop the sector. No timeframe for its establishment has been confi rmed, however. CEVA Logistics has won a contract to operate a Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) for BMW in the Polish special economic zone town of Slubice, close to the border with Germany. New contracts for China’s Grand Power
Grand Power Logistics Group Inc, a China-based international logistics provider, has announced that its airfreight subsidiary, Grand Power Express International (China) Limited, has reached direct sales contracts with ten additional, unspecified airlines.
