Jetstar, the discount carrier of Qantas Airways, has announced plans to commence long-haul flights from its major Asian hub in Singapore to Australia, north Asia and possibly European destinations by the end of this year. Miami International Airport’s cargo traffic grew 24 per cent in the first quarter, including a 38.1 per cent jump in March.
