Boeing and British Airways have signed an order for two Boeing 777- 300ER jetliners valued at US$529 million at list prices.Boeing also announced that GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS) has purchased two 777-300ERs airplanes that were previously listed as an unidentified order on the Boeing web site. Germany's Lufthansa Cargo began non-stop services to Toronto from the beginning of September. The airfreight subsidiary in the Lufthansa Group will be flying twice-weekly with an MD-11F freighter to Canada's largest city. Capacity for around 90 tonnes of freight will be available on each flight and the flight will return to Frankfurt via Atlanta.
