Virgin Atlantic, made history recently by being the first airline in the world to fly one of its aircraft on biofuel from London Heathrow to Amsterdam. INDIA: Two new carriers OK'ed by India
The Indian government has approved two new start-up passenger and cargo airlines - Avicore Aviation and ZAV Airways - while a United Arab Emirates company is seeking to launch a third. Avicore will be based out of Nagpur and use B737s with a capacity of about 15-17 tonnes of freight.
