Airports in the US are testing cargo screening systems, following the recent passing of a law requiring the screening of all cargo on passenger planes. The law is to be implemented within three years. At present, there is no single technology available to screen all cargo and many airports rely on fi ltering, such as paying attention to packages sent with unusual payment methods. Agility co-operates with US investigators
Kuwait’s Agility, a logistics company with multi-billion dollar Pentagon contracts, said it was co-operating with a US investigation into military supplies fraud, the Gulf Daily News reported. Thailand’s logistics costs too high
Thailand's actual logistics costs index this year should not be above its previous forecast of 23.9 percent of gross domestic product, the Nation reported, citing Thammasat Business School associate professor Ruth Banomyong.
