Australian airline Virgin Blue Holdings Ltd said it planned to invest A$70 million (US$62 million) in a new long-haul carrier it hopes will be fl ying on lucrative US routes by late 2008. TAIWAN: CAL transfers planes to China JV
China Airlines has transferred ownership of a Boeing 747-400 freighter indirectly to its mainland China joint venture, Yangtze River Express Airlines via an unidentifi ed middle company, the Economic Daily News reported, without identifying its source.
