Rickenbacker post gains in 2006
Strong December activity at Rickenbacker Airport closed 2006 with an annual increase. Rickenbacker reported a 19.7 percent increase in December cargo to close the year at over 250 million pounds (113.400 tonnes), a 0.7 percent increase over the 2005 figure. Rickenbacker also handled a 32.3 percent increase in commercial cargo aircraft landings during 2006. Vatry reports growth in regular cargo traffic
Freight traffic carried on scheduled services to and from Vatry airport last year totalled 33,000 tonnes, an increase of 12.3 percent on 2005. Global traffic remained stable at close to 38,000 tonnes.
