Kintetsu World Express, Japan's second-largest international forwarder, said it suffered a drop in profit on a consolidated basis between April and December from a year earlier despiterevenue growth. JAPAN: NCA returns to NY
Nippon Cargo Airlines is returning to New York’s JFK airport, making it the only airline to provide direct freighter service between New York and Tokyo. The service was suspended in August due to skyrocketing fuel prices and limited capacity. Customer demand has increased recently, said the airline. JAPAN: JAL and NCA to cargo code-share
Japan Airlines (JAL) and Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) have agreed to begin code share cargo flights from 29March. The agreement will begin with codeshare flights between Narita, Tokyo and Chicago and Los Angeles with a later expansion to New York, Seoul and Shanghai, pending approval.
