The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) recently signed an agreement on enhanced cooperation on the safety oversight of the Airbus 380. SINGAPORE: Defective fuel pump grounds SIA A380
Singapore Airlines was forced to cancel an Airbus A380 flight to Sydney because of a fuel pump defect last month. ¡°It was a difficult delay. Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd (ST Aerospace) recently unveiled its latest hangar in Singapore at its wholly-owned subsidiary, ST Aerospace Engineering Pte Ltd (STA Engineering), in Seletar. The Boeing Company and Jakartabased Lion Air announced recently an order for 56 Next-Generation 737-900ER (Extended Range) airplanes. Th is order, valued at more than US$4.4 billion at current list prices, brings Lion Air¡¯s combined orders for the 737-900ER to 178. INDONESIA: Garuda opts for B777s
The Boeing Company and Jakartabased Garuda Indonesia announced at the Singapore Air Show that the airline has ordered four 777-300ER (Extended Range) airplanes.
