Air Astana resumes flights to regional centres across Kazakhstan

Air Astana will resume scheduled flights from Almaty and Nur-Sultan to regional centres across Kazakhstan following the end of the national state of emergency on 11th May 2020. Services to Aktobe and Kyzylorda from Almaty and Nur-Sultan will re-start on 12th and 13th May respectively, whilst flights to Oskemen from Almaty and Nur-Sultan will restart on 13thand 14th May respectively. Air Astana modernises fleet with new Airbus deliveries

Air Astana continues to modernise its fleet with the delivery of the second Airbus A321LR under an operating lease agreement covering five aircraft with Air Lease Corporation of the United States. Along with the first Airbus A321LR delivered in September 2019, the newest aircraft will primarily operate on routes to London, Paris, Moscow and Istanbul. Air Astana expands services to India

Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s award-winning flag carrier, will launch services between Almaty and India’s commercial centre, Mumbai on 1st June 2020. Flights will be operated four times a week using Airbus A320, with a sector time of 4.5 hours in each direction.   On Mondays and Tuesdays, flights will depart Almaty at 07.05 local time and arrive in Mumbai at 11.05 local time, with return service from Mumbai departing at 12.05 and arriving in Almaty at 16.55 local time. Air Astana takes delivery of first Airbus A321LR

Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s leading carrier, has taken delivery of the first of seven Airbus A321LR (long range) aircraft under an operating lease agreement with Air Lease Corporation of the United States, with the remaining six aircraft scheduled for delivery over the next 12 to 18 months, depending on Airbus’ production capacity in Hamburg. Air Astana and S7 Siberia Airlines signs Codeshare agreement

  Air Astana and S7 Airlines, Russia’s biggest private airline, have strengthened their cooperation by signing a codeshare agreement for flights between Russia and Kazakhstan. Effective for flights operated from 15th July 2019, Air Astana flights from its hubs at Nur-Sultan and Almaty, to Novosibirsk and St. Petersburg now carry the code of S7 Airlines. Air Astana opens new aviation technical centre

Air Astana, the award-winning Kazakh flag carrier, marked its sixteenth anniversary with the opening of a new Aviation Technical Centre at Astana’s Nursultan Nazarbayev international airport. The new Aviation Technical Centre enables Air Astana to undertake all aircraft engineering and servicing requirements up to heavy maintenance level.
