Air Astana, the award-winning Kazakh flag carrier, has taken delivery of the first A321neo at the Airbus facility in Hamburg, Germany. The aircraft is on an operating lease from Aercap, with the deal including two further A321neo and one A320neo aircraft for delivery planned in 2018. Air Astana re-launches Astana-Dubai service
Air Astana, Kazakhstan's flag carrier will re-launch services between Astana and Dubai on 25 August 2015. The non-stop flight will be operated four times a week using an A320. Air Astana has made Paris CDG its newest destination in Western Europe, with the launch on 29 March of thrice-weekly flights from the Kazakh capital Astana (TSE). Air Astana's third B767-300ER arrived in Almaty yesterday, bringing the average age of the fleet down to only 5.4 years; the youngest in Central Asia and one of the youngest in the world.
