Astral Aviation to launch Mogadishu service
Astral Aviation will commence direct cargo service to Mogadishu, Somalia from its hub at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport from 14 March. The all-cargo carrier will fly to the capital of Somalia weekly using DC9 freighters, which offer up to 15 tonnes of capacity. Kenya Air eyes $3.6B expansion
Kenya Airways will spend US$3.6 billion over the next five years on new aircraft and routes, mainly aimed at connecting Africa and Asia, its chief executive said has said.
