Broward Aviation Services (BAS) has acquired a B737 (MSN 32798) airframe from AerCap. Previously operated by South Korean operator, t’way Air, disassembly for the year 2004 vintage aircraft will be undertaken at the AerCap Materials facility in Greenwood-Leflore County Airport Mississippi and be completed mid-February. ST Engineering announced that its Commercial Aerospace business has signed a five-year CFM LEAP engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) contract with new customer, Korean Air, to support the LEAP-1B engines powering its Boeing 737 MAX fleet.
