INDIA: DHL to restructure India joint venture
DHL plans to restructure its joint venture with Lemuir Group in India, paving the way for it to hold the majority stake in the venture, the Economic Times reported. After the restructuring, DHL will hold a 76 percent stake in the new company, DHL Lemuir Logistics Private Ltd, while Lemuir will hold the balance 24 percent stake. NEW ZEALAND: Airwork to start cargo airline
New Zealand aviation company Airwork said it will soon launch a cargo airline in Australia, apparently beating Virgin Blue to the deal. The airline, using three Boeing 737Fs, will fl y freight throughout Australia for listed logistics company Toll Holdings, which in New Zealand owns Toll Rail and the Cook Strait Interislander.
