PACTL obtains TAPA certification
Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd (PACTL) has successfully gained certification according to the Freight Security Requirements (FSR) of the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA). Cathay sees May cargo jump 14% y-o-y
Cathay Pacific and Dragonair carried 138,448 tonnes of cargo and mail in May, an increase of 13.9 per cent compared to the same month last year. The cargo and mail load factor rose by 1.9 percentage points to 63 per cent. Capacity, measured in available cargo/mail tonne kilometres, rose by 14 per cent while cargo and mail revenue tonne kilometres (RTKs) flown were up by 17.5 per cent. Now here’s a curious item that had the Belly Achers locked in an vociferous debate. The proverbial spark to this chaos was a news report on how Cathay Pacific air hostesses feel exposed by their uniform and would like the Hong Kong airline to redesign it.
