UPS makes strides in sustainability with electric aircraft
United Parcel Service (UPS) is making further steps to find new ways to help small businesses with sustainable solutions. Through its subsidiary UPS Flight Forward, the company plans to purchase electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft from startup Beta Technologies. DHL Express is adding more air freight capacity to as it looks to serve the growing demand between Asia Pacific and the US and Europe for express shipments fuelled by the rapid growth of e-commerce. The express operator will deploy two B777 freighters operated by Kalitta Air and Aerologic and the scheduled flight routes will offer close to 2,350 tonnes of capacity each week. Airbus, Malaysia Airlines extend FHS components contract
Airbus and Malaysia Airlines have signed an extension of their flight hour services components (FHS-C) contract for the carrier's fleet of A330 and A350.
