The Airport Authority Hong Kong reported its unaudited interim financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2009 with revenue and profit attributable to shareholders dropping 4.7 and 3.8 per cent respectively over the same period in 2008 to HK$4.3 billion (US$554 million) and HK$1.3 billion. Thailand’s air cargo volume up in October
Thailand’s six main airports handled 108,605 tonnes of air cargo in October, growing by 1.4 per cent year-on-year, according to statistics compiled by Airports of Thailand (AOT). For January to October, total cargo volume was 906,923 tonnes, down 19.6 per cent compared with the same period last year. Chinese firm wins Kenya airport tender
The Kenya Airways Authority (KAA) has awarded a tender to build the second phase of the expansion and modernisation of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to China National Aero-Technology International Engineering Company (CATIC), the Business Daily reported.
