Modification specialist ST Engineering has redelivered an A321 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion to US-based aircraft lessor BBAM Limited Partnership (BBAM). The aircraft lessor had announced the order during the Paris Airshow 2019, following a launch contract in 2018. Conversion work was carried out by ST Engineering, Airbus and Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW). Amazon adds to fleet with 11 B767s from Delta and WestJet
E-commerce and logistics titan Amazon made its first-ever purchase of Boeing 767-300, bringing in 11 of the aircraft type to expand its global fleet. Cebu Pacific takes delivery of ATR converted freighter
Cebu Pacific took delivery of its second ATR converted freighter as it adds more cargo capacity on domestic routes where runways are usually shorter. The ATR 72-500 aircraft with tail number RP-C7253 was converted at the Sabena Technics facility in Dinard, France, the same place where the first ATR freighter was modified for cargo operations. Dubai Airports and GMR Hyderabad launch vaccine corridor
Dubai Airports and the operator of India's Hyderabad airport, GMR Hyderabad, have signed an MoU to set up an air freight corridor to aid in the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines, following India’s recent approval of two vaccine candidates for emergency use.
