Emirates SkyCargo operated more than 10,000 cargo flights—a mix of scheduled, ad-hoc and charter operations—in the second quarter of the year, a press release stated. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol’s total cargo volume slipped 14.5 percent to 655,942 tonnes, compared to the same period in 2019, as an increase in full freighter cargo did not make up for the decline in belly traffic.
