Lufthansa Cargo is expanding its summer flight programme, particularly to Asia. The new services include two direct freighter flights per week to Beijing. For the first time, the cargo carrier's MD-11F service from Frankfurt to Shanghai and Seoul will be operated non-stop. EUROPE & CIS : It's off to Siberia for Lufthansa Cargo

Lufthansa Cargo and Russia have reached an agreement that will see the German carrier move its regional transit hub from Astana in Kazakhstan to Krasnoyarsk in Siberia. INDIA: 'GO' for GoAir fleet expansion

GoAir has said it plans to introduce five new aircraft over the next 12 months, adding to its current fleet of six. The carrier also plans to add 5-6 aircraft to its fleet each year until 2012, when it expects to operate a total of 31 A320s. GoAir reportedly plans to utilise the new aircraft primarily by increasing frequency on existing routes, rather then launching new services. SINGAPORE : SIA Cargo's new monkey business

Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) and Singapore Airlines Cargo have formed a partnership to jointly promote wildlife conservation. SIA Cargo is WRS' partner in the freightage of wildlife to zoos globally to boost the gene pool of endangered animals. SINGAPORE : BOC's first B737-8 for India's Jet Airways

Bank of China-owned BOC Aviation has delivered the first of seven new Boeing 737-800s to Jet Airways. A second aircraft will be delivered at the end of this month and the remaining five are scheduled for delivery in 2010 and 2011. All aircraft are on long term leases.
